Victory Praise - The VP Logo defined
The Victory Praise logo was based on a God-given vision back in 1994. From there the logo has developed and solidified into what it is today.
The “V” indicates the first letter in the ministry name. It is bold and straight. Its san-serif styling represents the clean sharp lines indicative of a swift action symbolic of a quick, triumphant victory.
The “V” is broken on the right hand side, symbolizing the body of Jesus Christ and his passion to commune with us. The broken “V” forms a lower case “I” representing us, God's people and our call to action and our literal responsibility in obtaining the victory that God desires and destines for our life. The “I” is only formed by the “Cross” that is embedded between the “V” and “P”, symbolizing that we would not be victorious without the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the action of dying on the cross for our sins so that we might have life and have it more abundantly and victoriously.
The “I” has the “natural” angle of the right hand side of “V” indicating a leaning, forward motion. This forward angle represents our steps that we take on a day-to-day basis toward our God-given destiny. The natural slant also represents the “perspective' and slant that God and our environment have on our life. It is this natural slant that makes each and every one of us unique and different. The “I” also represents integrity and how it is to be a major foundational component in our life. Without integrity we have no true, honest, open, praise to God. Without true praise we cannot obtain victory.
The embedded “cross” is white, symbolic of the power of Jesus' blood and its ability to wash our sins away. The white color symbolizes the pure white innocence that Jesus sees before Him when we ask for Him to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.
The “P” indicates the first letter in the second word of the ministry name. It is bold and slanted. The bold represents the power we have in God to come before the throne and praise Him. The slant indicates action. This action is our responsibility to God. We are commanded to praise God with all our heart. The curve of the “P” is not symmetrical, symbolizing that we all praise God differently and yet each and every praise is a sweet sound to His ear. The modern curve and slanted angle represents the modern world we live in.
The embedded “cross” ties the two letters together to testify that without the cross we would be damned and victory would never be ours. Without the cross we could not praise God. The cross and all that it represents, is in the center of our life and the Victory Praise logo, only in this position are we truly free in God's abundant grace and able to obtain the victory that He has destined for us.
The logo as a whole signifies the letters “VIP” representing how important each one of us is to God. We are not to take lightly the responsibilities that he has for us to interact with one another. We are to encourage and have relationship with one another as a team and body of Christ – the church.
